Position: Assistant Professor of Asian History
The Department of History at Indiana State University seeks to hire a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Asian History, with a focus in East, South, Southeast, and/or Indian Ocean history, to begin Fall 2018. The successful candidate will offer courses in World History; Modern Asian and/or East Asian History; and upper-division and graduate courses in one’s area of expertise. Contributions to the distance M.A. program and undergraduate Foundational Studies core are also expected. The department values teaching and scholarship equally, and evidence of success in both is required.
