Travel grants are available to visit the University of Michigan’s Asia Library, which holds more than one million volumes in Chinese, Japanese, and Korean and subscribes to a multitude of electronic resources.

The grants, of up to $1,000 apiece, are to help defray the costs of travel, lodging, meals, and photo-duplication for scholars of China, Japan, and Korea at other institutions who wish to utilize our collection. Applications are through the respective centers of Chinese, Japanese, and Korean studies.
