Job Opening: Assistant Professor, East Asian History, Ithaca College

Position/Job Summary:

Full-time tenure-eligible position in East Asian history. Research specialization is open. In addition to upper level courses in their area of expertise, applicants must be able to teach introductory world history courses or other, innovative 100-level courses in their field … Preference will be given to candidates who are qualified to teach a survey-level course on Chinese history.

Review of applications will begin November 10, 2017 and will continue until the position is filled. The search committee will hold interviews at the January 2018 meeting of the American Historical Association.
