Position:   University Lecturer in Modern Japanese Economy

Leiden University invites applications for a fulltime University Lectureship in modern Japanese economy in its (East-)Asian contexts, including economic history and political economy, with special attention to its historical, social, political, and cultural contexts, on the transnational (Asian and East-Asian) and global as well as the national level. Appointment will be fixed-term from August 2014 through July 2016, with the possibility of extensions of up to four years, and of tenure thereafter.
