Travel & Sales Administrator
JOB DESCRIPTION
To be the face of The Art of Travel at the Tokyo American Club. To energetically and creatively market both domestic and international travel to club members. To assist club members with travel planning. To provide support to AOT guests when necessary.
CHARACTER TRAITS
Friendly, reliable, independent, self-starter, cool under pressure, quick study, service-oriented.
QUALIFICATIONS
Native or near-native English and very strong Japanese language skills a must.
Knowledge of the following programs & platforms: Excel, Word, SNS (Facebook, Twitter, Tumbler, etc.)
Experience in travel planning, sales, and hospitality a plus.
Certificates: travel agent, guide, translator will have a strong advantage.
LOCATION
Tokyo
WORKING HOURS
21 hrs/wk at TAC; option for additional “freelance” hours as needed. (Potential to increase.)
SALARY
Negotiable based on experience. Sales commission possible after 3 months.
INTERVIEW
First interview in Tokyo; second interview in Kanazawa.
Travel expenses paid by AOT.
