Asia Society, a prestigious, global, educational and cultural non-profit seeks a Manager, Patron Program, to assist with the Patron Program’s operation and achievement of the Patron fundraising goal; create, plan and execute a robust calendar of special Patron activities; maintain consistent and systematic communications with all Patron groups; manage the operation and meet the fundraising goal for Asia Circle.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design a robust and diverse calendar of exclusive Patron events for all components of the Patron program – Asia Circle, Chairman’s Circle, Friends of Asian Arts, President’s Circle
Create these unique Patron activities and manage their execution
- Compose invitations and accept responses
- Partner with the Director, Patron Programs and General Membership to identify, cultivate and solicit new Chairman’s Circle, Friends of Asian Arts and President’s Circle Patron members
- Assist the Director, Patron Programs and General Membership in work with the Patron Committee
- Manage all aspects of the Asia Circle, a group of young supporters, to increase revenue and build the number of members
- Oversee implementation of Patron members’ benefits
- Maintain Patron and Asia Circle Facebook page
- Aid Director, Patron Programs and General Membership in preparation of analytic reports
- Monitor the expense budgets for all components of the Patron program
- Write and send donor correspondence, as needed
- Ensure Patrons’ database records are up-to-date
- Interface with External Affairs teams: corporate, foundation, research, special events, database and Asia Society programmatic areas: arts and culture, education and leadership, policy and business
- Help with other development projects and duties, as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree and 4-5 years related experience preferred, with emphasis on cultivation events
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Self-starter who is comfortable working under pressure in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work independently and as a team player, engaging others at varying levels of seniority within and outside the organization
- Exceptional attention to detail

- Some evening and weekend work required.
