Fun Link Friday: 5 Japanese Homes Designed to Keep You in Shape

The holidays. I bet you’re thinking about social gatherings with friends and family, copious amounts of food including cakes and cookies, staying warm by the fireplace, and all the general merriment that comes this time of year. I, however, was told by my doctor to lose 15 pounds, drop my cholesterol 10 points, not sit by this fireplace this holiday season and get more active.

Soon after that announcement, Spoon & Tamago posted 5 Japanese Homes Designed to Keep You in Shape. Perfect. Timing. I admit I have yet to finish decorating my condo. I still have a few more rooms and high walls with nothing on them. Clean, modern aesthetics and everything I could ask for in a home. Quite honestly, the one that I have my eyes on is the home with the rock climbing wall.

I’m smitten. Check out Spoon & Tamago’s 5 Japanese Homes Designed to Keep You in Shape and let me know which one is your favorite! I could only imagine how much fun it would be if, during my homestay, I got to live in one of these homes.

I built a wall in my parents’ home years back. Still stands and keeps me (and my daughter) busy on visits back home.
