The Department of National Security Affairs at the Naval Postgraduate School seeks applications for a tenure-track appointment at any rank (assistant, associate, or full professor) in the history or politics of Asia. We are particularly interested in scholars working on Southeast Asia. Korea, or Japan. The successful candidate must also be prepared to teach a general graduate-level course on either comparative politics or modern history.

The Naval Postgraduate School is a fully-accredited graduate school whose students are drawn from the armed forces and civilian agencies of the United States and many other countries. National Security Affairs is a multi-disciplinary department with curricula based on comparative politics,international relations, history, and economics.
