Faculty Positions in Modern and Contemporary History
The School of Humanities and Social Sciences at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, invites qualified academics to apply for faculty positions as Assistant Professors in the area of Modern and Contemporary History, preferably with a regional specialization in Asia and a research focus on one or more of the following areas:
History of Science, Technology, Medicine, and Health
Environmental History
Business History
History of China and/or South Asia in global perspective
Asia’s interactions with the outside world
The new appointments present excellent opportunities for promising historians to contribute to the establishment and development of a new History programme at the University. Candidates should possess a PhD, and demonstrate a commitment to research excellence. A commitment to train undergraduate and graduate students in the respective fields of specialization is also essential.
