Job Opening: Visiting Assistant Professor of Asian History

The History Department of the College of Charleston invites applications for a visiting assistant professorship in History to begin the Fall semester of 2018.  Position is for one year. The successful candidate will teach one course per semester in area of specialty as well as sections of the 100-level general education requirement each semester, i.e., pre-modern history (pre-1500) and/or modern history (post-1500). Applications should include a cover letter, C.V., graduate transcripts, names and contact information for at least three references, a writing sample, and sample syllabi (pre-modern and/or modern) for the 100-level courses.
