With all the buzz in the last few years about real-life people putting on costumes and declaring themselves superheroes (they even have their own Wiki page these days), it was interesting to stumble across this NTDV report on a local one in the Tokyo subway. Dressed as a super sentai, his activities do not appear to be staving off violence and attacks or putting down drug dealers, but are more involved in helping out people with heavy luggage or children and being a general escort through dark and difficult passages in the station.
Maybe he’ll get that team together after all?
