Position: Assistant Professor of History, Asian History and/or Asian American Studies
The Department of Humanities at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Asian History and/or Asian American Studies beginning August 2013. The successful candidate will teach upper division courses in Asian history, two sections of the candidate’s preferred half of the U.S. Survey each semester, as well as undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the area of specialization. Ph.D. preferred; advanced ABD considered. Candidates are expected to be quality teachers, scholars, and citizens of the academy as demonstrated through a variety of student learning outcomes, refereed publications, external grants, and through service on local and professional committees.
