The University of Kansas Department of History is searching for an Assistant Professor in Modern Japanese History:

Modern Japanese History   The University of Kansas seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Modern Japanese history (post Edo period), to begin in August 2013.  Required qualifications:  Applicants currently ABD will be considered, but a Ph.D. in History or a closely related field is expected by the start date of appointment.
