Responsibilities:
Saint Marys College invites applications for a part-time Lecturer in Modern Japan in the Department of History for the Fall 2012 semester.
Teaching responsibilities will consist of one (1) upper division course in Modern Japanese history. However, no previous student knowledge of Japan may be presumed. The course will be taught Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2:50 p.m. to 3:50 p.m.
Experience and Qualifications:
Candidates should hold a Masters Degree along with a demonstrated experience teaching Modern Japanese History to undergraduates and evidence of teaching effectiveness.
PhD is highly desirable.
