Position:   Non-Tenure Track Faculty Fellow in East Asian Studies and History

The Departments of East Asian Studies and History at Colby College invite applications for a one-year faculty fellow, beginning September 1, 2012. Candidates should have a Ph. D. in history with a research interest in China, Japan, or Korea of any historical period, as well as demonstrated commitment to liberal arts education. Teaching load is four courses, including a one semester “Foundations of East Asia” course, a senior research seminar in East Asian Studies, a 100-level survey of the modern history of China, Japan, or Korea, and a 200- or 300-level history course in an area of the candidate’s choosing.
