The Department of Political Science and Geography and the Graduate Program in International Studies at Old Dominion University invite applications for a tenured position in comparative politics and/or international relations at the Associate or Full Professor level to begin July 25, 2012. The department has a preference for comparativists. Excellence in teaching and research commensurate with the level of tenured appointment sought is required. The field of specialization is Asian Politics. Preference will be given to candidates with a specialization in East Asia and a research and teaching profile that complements existing coverage in the department. Candidates should be prepared to teach at the undergraduate, MA, and PhD levels.
