Job Opening: East Asian Politics, Comparative Politics – Assistant Professor

The Department of Political Science invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in comparative politics commencing with the 2012-2013 academic year. The primary area of expertise should be East Asian politics, but candidates who do cross-regional research that includes a major country or countries in East Asia are also welcome to apply. The successful candidate will demonstrate outstanding research and teaching potential and be qualified and prepared to contribute courses to the Asian Studies minor. The Ph.D. should be in hand or expected by August, 2012.
