The Department of East Asian Studies invites applications for an assistant, associate, or full professor (open rank) in Japanese literature, film or cultural studies with a focus on modern Japan. The successful candidate should have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and research. Senior scholars should submit a letter of interest along with a vita, but no publications or other writings at this time. Junior candidates should submit a vita, cover letter, writing sample, and names and contact information of three referees.
