As promised, we are slowly working on some renovations here at Shinpai Deshou, with more expected as we get fresh content ready for your over the summer. Here’s what’s new this week:

• We’ve made minor updates to our “About us” and “FAQ” sections.
• We fixed a minor bug in the design so our parent dropdown menus don’t have annoying links to nowhere! (that was bugging the heck outta me)
• We have a new look! If you look at our articles via your Google Reader or email subscription, come on down to the main page and see the new big banner, wider content area, and expanded menu.
• We added new menu options, namely a place for Fun Link Friday articles, and our “Posts” section is now renamed “Articles” (something the width of our old menu wouldn’t allow!).
• Our Funding section is now conveniently organized into “Graduate/Professionals” “Undergraduates” and “Summer Study/Research” funding sections to help you navigate financial opportunities without clicking every link. We’re still thinking of ways to refine our categorizing system to make this more specific, but little steps to start!
• We also added topical subcategories “By Field” in our “Study Resources” menu to make navigation easier.
