Job Opening: East Asian History, Visiting Assistant Professor

The Departments of History and East Asian Studies at Colby College invite applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor, beginning September 1, 2011.  Candidates should have a Ph.D. in history with a research interest in China, Japan, or Korea of any historical period, as well as a demonstrated commitment to liberal arts education. Teaching load is five courses, including a one-semester “Foundations of East Asia” and four 200- or 300-level history courses.
