Job Opening: Part-time Adjunct Lecturer on Buddhist Studies

Harvard Divinity School invites applications for an appointment to teach one course at the level of adjunct lecturer on Buddhist Studies in the fall semester of 2011. The appointee will teach and advise students at the undergraduate and graduate level. The course to be taught should be focused on an area of inquiry in the study of Buddhism, preferably in South Asian, Southeast Asian, and/or Tibetan Buddhism. A doctoral degree is required. Candidates should demonstrate excellence in teaching. Applications should include a letter of application, curriculum vitae, and the names of three references. An official transcript will be required at the time of hiring. The deadline for applications is May 15, 2011.
