One year Assistant Professor, East Asian History

The History Department of Colorado College invites applications for a one year position at the assistant professor level beginning in September 2011. Teaching responsibilities will be in East Asian History, specifically: ancient and modern China, modern Japan, and comparative or world history. The department seeks a gifted teacher who can both encourage historical interest in students majoring in other disciplines and engage potential historians in research problems.
