Last day to register – Association for Japanese Literary Studies 2010

A bit late, but another conference announcement! There appear to be some very neat presentations on science fiction and film, as well as some great premodern stuff, too.

The 2010 conference of the Association for Japanese Literary Studies (AJLS) will take place at Yale University on Oct 15, 16, and 17, with a preview panel on Thurs Oct 14. The theme of the conference is “Technology and Japanese Literary, Film and Performance Studies.” More than forty papers as well as keynote addresses by University of Tokyo Professors Yoshimi Shun’ya and Uchino Tadashi are featured on the program.

Student registration fee ………….…….. $30

Registration for the main conference closes today, Oct 6 at midnight EDT.  We will not be able to accept late registrations or on-site registrations.
